Advent Thoughts – A message from GFS World President

Dear All :

Today is Advent Sunday : Let’s prepare our hearts for the coming of our Lord

Today marks the beginning of Advent, a sacred season in the Christian calendar that calls us to prepare our hearts and minds to celebrate the coming of our Lord and Saviour.

As we light the candles in the Advent wreath and sing Christmas carols, let us take time to examine our lives, repent and seek God’s forgiveness. May Christ be born anew in each of us, inspiring us to share the love, joy and hope of this season with others.

Yes, Jesus is coming, but not only as a babe in Bethlehem – we also look forward to His glorious second coming. Therefore, we must prepare, watch, be alert and wait, because we do not know the hour of His return.

Jesus says : Yes, I am coming soon.   Our response : Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. (Rev. 22:20)

May God bless us all as we prepare for the coming of Jesus!
