Commissioning of Senior and Junior Delegates to World Council

On Saturday 16th May 2026, Myra Moody (Central President, Dublin & Glendalough) and Oriel Waters (Kilmore, Elphin & Argagh) were commissioned to be Senior Delegate and Junior Delegate, representing GFS Ireland at World Council in Sri Lanka 1st to 9th July 2026.
The commissioning was held in The Litton Hall, Wesley House Dublin and performed by Central Chaplain, Rev Tanya Woods.
The new delegates were presented for commissioning by the outgoing delegates, Alison Jackson and Tara St Leger.
The commissioning service was attended by members of Central Council and family members of the delegates.
