God is Love – A Valentines Day Message From Our World President

“Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” – 1 John 3:18

Today is Valentine’s Day, a day when the word LOVE is celebrated worldwide. Let us reflect on what Love truly means to a Christian.

1 John 4:8 tells us that “God is Love” – a never ending Love. We are blessed by this divine Love, and we are called to share it with others.

We remember Jesus’ sacrificial Love – He gave His life on the cross to save us. As John 3:16 reminds us, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

But Love is not just about talking, it’s about doing. 1 John 3:18 tells us: “Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”

We are called to “do” – to love genuinely, encourage kindly, help practically, serve sacrificially and share God’s divine, unconditional Love with the world. Remember, “We love because He first loved us.” – 1 John 4:19.

This Valentine’s Day, let our love be rooted in faith – reaching for the stars and daring to do the impossible. Together, let us not just talk about God’s Love, but show it through action and truth. Let’s live it! 🩷
