Kings Honours for Mrs Joy Montgomery, Armagh

Mrs Joy Montgomery  has been recognised in His Majesty The King’s Birthday Honours List. Mrs Montgomery received the BEM (British Empire Medal) for services to the community in County Tyrone. She is a founder member of Newmills branch in Armagh Diocese, which recently celebrated their 60th Anniversary. She was a leader for 27 years and also helped lead the praise in her parish as organist for 30 years.

This recognition is a fitting tribute to a lady who has been very generous with her time for many years, and made a positive difference to many.

GFS Ireland extends hearty congratulations to Joy and thanks her for her dedication.
