Thoughts and Prayers for March 2025
Psalm 34:4
|
‘I sought the Lord and he answered me and freed me from all my fears.
(Revised Berkeley Version 1979, zondervan publishing House)

In 1983 I was given a New Testament by the Gideon’s that’s 42 years ago. And every time I was anxious and scared I would turn to this verse as a young teenager, I think sometimes as an adult I wish I would remember this verse. There’s a lot going on, for some of us mock exams and exams are coming up soon, others could be facing other worries. But despite all that we can seek our Lord and He will help us.
Lord, thank you that you love and care for us. Lord when we get frightened or anxious help us to turn to you. We pray Lord that you would help us to reach out and help our friends too when they are afraid as well.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
Father God, you are a loving father who cares deeply for us, help us to seek you when life is hectic, and nervousness kicks in. When anxiety or fear knocks on our doors. When mock exams and exams seem to be approaching faster then we would like or care for. You are our saviour and Lord, we seek and trust You. Lord would you also help us all to reach out and support each other as best we can.
In Jesus mighty name we pray.
Amen
With thanks to the members of Dublin & Glendalough for providing this months prayers.
