Psalm 150: 1-2

Praise the Lord!

Praise God in His Temple!

Praise His strength in heaven!

Praise Him for the mighty things He has done.

Praise his supreme greatness.

Prayer for Junior Members

Dear God, when we are worried or upset, help us to remember that we are not alone.

You are always with us and understand our worries.

Thank you, God for your love and care.

Amen

Senior Member Prayer

Lord God Almighty, you are my God,

I give you alone praise and thanksgiving because I can call you ‘Father’. I can have a close relationship with you and I can be in your presence forever.

I am blessed to be here. You send Jesus Christ to be my Lord and Saviour, my rescuer and my hope.

I am blessed to know your Holy Spirit’s voice and guidance and peace and comfort in my life.

I pray for my life to be a shining light for you in this world and that I may live and work to your praise and glory as I serve you, God.

Amen

Dear God

We thank you for the wonderful colours of Autumn.

The trees changing colours from green to orange, red, yellow and brown.

The lovely colourful plants and flowers in our gardens.

We thank you for your wonderful creations on this earth.

We give thanks for animals, birds and small insects.

May we be grateful for all you have made.

As the winter comes, we see the lovely structure of the trees,

The flowers hibernating for the winter months.

Help us all to take a break and reflect on your beautiful world.

We give thanks for our friends, families and all our friends in GFS worldwide.

In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
