Central Chaplain
A Central Chaplain is not elected; the individual is invited to the role on the approval of the Central Council and the GFS Patrons. The Central Chaplain has an invitation to attend all meetings of the Central Council as a non-voting member.
The Central Chaplain duties include, but not limited to:
- Pastoral responsibility to visit GFS girls who are staying in Oak House
- Conducting 1 service of Holy Communion each year at Central Council
- Commissioning the Central President
- Commissioning All Ireland Leaders and delegates for the World Council as appropriate
- Acting in an advisory role on the Bible Study syllabus for the society
- Providing contributions to the GFS newsletter from time to time
